Why Yoga?
I can give you a list of reasons for practicing yoga, but that’s not why I decide to do this blog. I want to go deeper into what yoga really is and how we can go beyond the physical aspect of this practice, combining foods, breath and meditation.

I am going to share with you my story and how yoga and meditation saved me. Since my teenage years depression and anxiety played a big part of my daily struggles. Let me clear one thing, I had loving parents and although it was a pretty strict household it was a typically normal upbringing. It was mostly me fighting with myself and spilling out into my surroundings that was an issue. My dad would ask, “why are you so angry” and I had no answers. Maybe there was some bad wiring in my brain. It was something inside me that just didn’t feel right. This went on for many years and although therapy and medication kept me focused and sometimes calm, it was also sort of numbing. I didn’t enjoy the feeling of being so disconnected.
